L’Atelier de justice participative
Organisation profile
The Atelier de justice participative, S.E.N.C. (hereinafter the “Atelier”) is a vehicle for legal empowerment, encouraging the active participation and involvement of a person before the justice system in his or her own case. For this purpose, the Atelier provides adapted legal services aimed at supporting and educating its clients in their own legal procedures. The Atelier offers flexible, affordable and participatory services enabling you to become involved in the process of asserting your own rights.
Services
• Support and drafting of small-claims applications and procedures before other bodies;
• Negotiation and facilitation of out-of-court settlements;
• Research, opinions and legal advice on all legal matters in the areas we cover;
• File preparation for hearings, review of evidence and simplified explanation of rules of procedure
These services are available and applicable to Small Claims Court files and to all other legal jurisdictions. An initial interview of up to 30 minutes is offered free of charge to clearly identify the client’s needs. The Atelier uses flat-rate and à la carte billing rather than hourly billing to provide affordable services, with no unpleasant surprises for clients.
The Atelier de justice participative also offers free legal information service Monday evenings from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Citizens wishing to benefit from this information service can go directly on the Atelier’s website to submit their requests.
