A body appointed by the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec whose mission is to process any information regarding a violation of the Professional Code, the Nurses Act and the regulations covering the practice of the nursing profession, and to follow up. This body follows changes in the nurses Code of Ethics and informs nurses of these changes.

• Information on the investigation request process, the Professional Code and the nurses Code of Ethics. Available free of charge. Service provided by phone and through their website.
• Handling of investigation requests from the public. Available free of charge. To request an investigation, fill out the form found on the website and send it by post or by fax.
