Services
● Legal information telephone line in the area of family law. Available free of charge. Call 450 443-8221 | 1 877 443-8221 (toll-free).
● Family mediation service provided by accredited mediators, for all couples going through breakup. The first five hours are free if the couple has at least one dependent child. Fees of $110 per meeting apply if a couple requires additional meetings or has no dependent children. However, following a ruling or a review, a couple with dependent children is entitled to 2½ additional hours free of charge. Phone for an appointment.
● Publication of an information compendium on family law, provided on a USB drive containing the PDF version and the electronic version. Cost of $60 per USB drive. Phone for details.
● Legal information session for groups on topics related to family law. Fee of $5 per person. Possibility of travel throughout the Montérégie region. Phone for details or to register.
● “Autodivorce” (do-it-yourself-divorce) workshop: workshops in which couples in breakdown are supervised by a lawyer and write their own legal motion. Couple are required to have reached an agreement previously as part of s family mediation process. Cost of $200 per participant or $300 per couple. Phone for details.
