Community resource that specializes in helping women and girls aged 12 and over who are victims of sexual assault. CALACS also plays a public education, information and prevention role on the issue of sexual assault. In addition, this organization promotes the rights and defends the interests of sexually assaulted women.
Services
Support and information service for women and girls aged 12 and over who are victims of sexual assault. Information on the available remedies, help in dealing with the effects of an assault, guidance for applications under the Crime Victims Compensation Act and guidance in other legal proceedings. Available free of charge. Service provided in person by appointment.
