Alternative-justice organization with a regional mandate and a mission that consists of putting its alternative-justice expertise at the service of youths and of victims involved in an offence by calling upon the community in the redress procedure for the harm done and by encouraging the active involvement of citizens in seeking and developing continuous peaceful mechanisms for dispute settlement that do not rely upon the courts.

Services

● “Résolution Gatineau:” conflict resolution assistance service provided by trained mediators in neighbourhood, interpersonal or community disputes, other than family mediation. Available free of charge. Service provided in person by appointment.

● Group information workshops on the Youth Criminal Justice Act for youths, intended for educational institutions and youth centres. Available free of charge. Phone for details.

● Enforcement of measures under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, guidance and support for youths in their approach to victim and community redress. For people involved in an offence committed by a juvenile under the terms of this Act. Available free of charge. By referral only.
