The Centre d’Assistance et d’Accompagnement aux Plaintes is a regional independent organization. Mandated in 1993 by the Minister of Health and Social Services, it offers support to users who wish to file a complaint, working hand in hand with complaint and quality services commissioners as well as with the Protecteur du citoyen (Citizen Ombudsman). Among other things, it facilitates conciliation amongst concerned parties.
Available anywhere in the Montérégie region, its services are free of charge and highly confidential.

To inform users of their rights and of the complaint process.
To listen to and grasp the object of a complaint.
To help you prepare your case and write your letter.
To accompany you in meeting the person responsible for processing your complaint.
To provide support in other related procedures.
To refer towards other appropriate services.
To conduct presentations on user rights.
In all confidentiality, all our services are offered free of cost and with great importance given to quality. Each request is welcomed and processed in respect of our mandate’s limitations and with open-mindedness and a respect of the person’s autonomy in making choices
