To provide an individual or collective process of assistance, support and rights advocacy for vulnerable individuals suffering from a mental health problem and whose rights are likely to be affected.
Services
● Assistance provided by mental health rights advocacy groups consists of supporting individuals in the steps they undertake to assert their rights and to access the remedies provided. Available free of charge. Service provided by phone and in person by appointment
● Legal information sessions and group training on rights and remedies in mental health. Available free of charge. For training provided to people working in the healthcare system, fees of at least $25 apply. Possibility of travel to organizations. Phone or visit their website for details.
