Organization whose mission is getting youths and their victims to participate as actively as possible in the conflict-resolution process, respecting the rights and dignity of everyone involved in the management of infractions, litigation and conflcits. The main office is in Gaspé, and there is also a service outlet in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine. We do not cover the southern part of the Gaspé peninsula.
Description des services
“Mediation:” a conflict-resolution assistance service provided by mediators trained in civil and criminal matters.
Mediation in civil matters: Neighbourhood conflicts, interpersonal disputes, conflicts between landlords and tenants and community disputes, other than family mediation.
Mediation in criminal matters: Criminal mediation for offenders and their victims.
Services provided free of charge, in person by appointment.
Enforcement of measures set out in the Youth Criminal Justice Act, guidance and support for youths in their reparations to victims and the community. For people involved in an offence committed by a youth within the purview of this Act. Available free of charge. By referral only.
