{"id":1004,"date":"2018-03-19T19:02:57","date_gmt":"2018-03-19T18:02:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/boussolejuridique.ca\/?page_id=1004"},"modified":"2019-02-21T18:07:26","modified_gmt":"2019-02-21T17:07:26","slug":"who-we-are","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/boussolejuridique.ca\/en\/who-we-are\/","title":{"rendered":"Who we are"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Developed by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/justiceprobono.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Justice Pro Bono<\/strong><\/a>, the Boussole Juridique (\u00ablegal compass\u00bb) is a search tool for free or low-cost legal resources available in Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>When faced with a legal issue, a citizen who cannot afford the services of a lawyer can turn to community and government provided legal resources to find either information, support or legal guidance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Of course, to avail themselves of those services, the citizen must first know they exist.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Until now, there was no inventory of these free or low-cost resources.
